Condolence From: Philip Carmichael
Condolence: My condolences to Terri and the family for your loss.
Larry and I met when he lived on Lawrence St and I lived on Hall St. (Mid 80's) We would see each other and found something simpatico. When I had a vacancy he moved in and began to find life beyond the bottle.
We talked, we argued, we agreed and disagreed over many things. The most important thing I learned from him is the concept of JUSTICE. Not winning but justice. I still use it as a primary measurement of life.
When Terri entered his life and he moved away from Hall St but we continued to meet regularly for breakfast at Hogans, Cornerstone, or a new venue and continued more than 30 years thru Covid until the end.
I miss you and will not forget you my friend. RIP.

Condolence From: Steven Epstein
Condolence: Larry was one of the more senior attorneys in my complex when I started my career as a lawyer in the Bronx Legal Aid Society, complex D Larry was committed to service. He served as a public defender in the Bronx for 40 years. I enjoyed my time learning from Larry, not just the law but about life. Larry was always willing to listen and provide counsel and advice. He cared and was a wise man whose advice was usually spot on. Who I became as a lawyer was impacted greatly by many who I worked with in that office but particularly a few and Larry was one of those who had a great impact on the lawyer I have become. I hope he is doing the crosswords somewhere right now and smiling down on all of us. Steven Epstein
