Obituary for Maryann Arlotta
Maryann Arlotta age 70 passed away peacefully on July 10, 2023 after a brief Illness with cancer that overwhelmed her quickly, but the staff at Nyack Hospital & Tolstoy Foundation made her last moments as comfortable as possible.
She was predeceased in death by her father Joseph and mother Josephine.
She is survived by her brother Pascal & his wife Maria, her sister Petrina. Nieces :Petrina, Camille & Lisa, Nephews: Benjamin, Jared & Michael. She is also survived by several cousins.
Maryann was born in Manhattan, moved to Nyack in 1963. She became a Nyack girl quickly who made friends and never meet a stranger. She was an honor roll student throughout her school experience. She attended, St Patrick's. St Ann's, Rosary Academy & Rockland Community College.
She was a voracious reader who always studied and was one to make our family proud, with her drive to succeed in school at every level. She loved shopping, walking, movies, the NY Yankees & spending time with family , and friends.
Maryann became an executive secretary for Exxon in Manhattan , and furthered her education as a paralegal. She also volunteered at Nyack Hospital for several years. She will always be remembered by her beautiful smile by all who loved her.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 10 AM at St. Ann's RC Church in Nyack, NY.
In lieu of flowers , please make all donations in her memory to the Tolstoy Foundation Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 100 Lake Road , Valley Cottage NY 10989
