Obituary for Jerolima "Jerry" Telesmanic
Jerolima Telesmanic, (nee Pulisic), age 74 passed away peacefully after a hard fought battle
with cancer at her home in Florida.
Jerolima was born on September 29th, 1948 on the beautiful island of Olib in Croatia. She
traveled 6 days by boat with her family from Genoa, Italy arriving in New York City on January
12th, 1967
On July 5th, 1969 she married the love of her life, Nikola and together they raised their two
children Ines and Alen in Bardonia, NY after moving from New York City. Jerry, as she was
known by family and friends, enjoyed, with Nikola, traveling to Croatia in the summer and
spending winters in Florida. They loved the sun, spending time at the pool and trips to the
casino. When she wasn’t traveling she enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her 7
grandchildren who she adored. She was a wonderful wife, sister, mother and nana and she will
be greatly missed.
Jerolima is predeceased by her loving husband Nikola and is survived by her children Ines
(James) Weck, Alen (Lauren) Telesmanic and her 7 grandchildren, James Jr, Andrew, Scott,
Jason, Maya, Luca and Alana. Her sisters Tereza (Ante) Juric and Lily (Igor) LaGrasta also
survive her as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
