Obituary for Susan Tasch
On February 1, 2023, Susan Tasch, 60, of Chestnut Ridge, NY passed away after a long illness.
Susan was born in Suffern, NY on March 7, 1962 to Bernard and Natalie Finkel. She was
married to Lloyd Tasch for 29 years. She is survived by her husband Lloyd, daughter Frances,
mother Natalie and sisters Shelli Centra and Karen Lieberman. She was predeceased by her
father Bernie.
Susan will be dearly missed, and remembered always with laughter and love, by her nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Lloyd and Frances will cherish and care for Susan’s beloved pets Winnie and Petey. Susan was a respected educator in schools PS 90/173/236 in the South Bronx for 34 years. She loved to knit and crochet and was generous in gifting her beautiful creations to friends and family. She was never happier than when she and Lloyd were on a cruise.
The funeral service will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Temple Beth Am, Pearl
River, NY with arrangements by Hannemann Funeral Home, Nyack, NY. Donations in Susan’s
memory can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
